Convert to project - in place

Hi, when I convert a task to a project in Omnifocus, is there a way to do that without immediately moving it out of the existing projects hierarchy, and instead leaving it exactly where it is?

For example, here’s the before:

  • Folder
    • Project
      • Task
      • Task
      • Task --> convert to Project

Here’s what currently happens:

  • Folder
    • Project
      • Task
      • Task
  • Project

Here’s what I’d like to happen:

  • Folder
    • Project
      • Task
      • Task
      • Project

This has got to exist already, right? And I’m just missing it?

You can’t have a project inside a project, you can have an action group though. Or do you have one indent too many in your example?

Presuming that @rosemaryjayne is correct about what you want, the way to do this is to select the task in the Projects list and then drag it into the folder, either in the Projects list itself (if you have the Projects perspective set to show folders) or in the sidebar. That will convert it to a new project within the folder.

Interestingly, if you drag it into the folder in the Projects list (the main window), it will appear at the top of the folder. If you drag it into the sidebar, it will appear at the bottom.
