Copy Link - Ideas to Make it More Usable & Smart

  1. Similar to a note icon, make links its own field or some sort of visual iconography that a link to another task exists. Taking this further, show if it is a task or a project on the other end, DEPENDENT or PRECEDENT type link. Status of the destination link too would be nice to have visible.
  2. Hovering over a link would enable basic title, tag, date, etc of the linked row.
  3. Linking should be smart. For example, I would love to have a project be on hold if it is DEPENDENT on another linked project to be completed.

Thought this would be a fun thread to start. I would love to see your ideas.
