Creating Perspectives with Contexts

Hi All,

I am not sure if I should post this here, but here I go. I am still using Omnifocus 1 (1.10.6) on a MAc OS X 10.7.5. If anyone could help me with the following dilemmas, I would appreciate it:

  1. I want to create a perspective which will allow me to see only my active projects in my contexts. I tried a couple of things, but it is not working.

  2. Do I need to get the Pro version of Omnifocus 2 to be able to do this?

It would help if you could describe what exactly you’re trying to accomplish — maybe you could include some screenshots?

  • Is it a Context or Peoject based perspective you want?
    • if Project-based, simply setting your “Project Sidebar Filter” to Active should give you the results you want.
    • if Context-based, setting your “Availability” filter to “Available” would show only tasks contained in active projects.
