CSV export dates

Hi,

I find the export to CSV function in the iPhone version very useful. I use it all the time for work as a kind of rolling journal, also a way to keep team members updated on projects. However, I have a light problem with it, and I do not know how to fix it.

My time zone is GMT +2, and as far as I can tell it is set correctly in the iPhone settings. However the exported data the times are off by two hours. Not a train smash, but I would like to correct it if possible. Can somebody shed some light on where the problem might be?

An example line:

|8.3.87	|Action	|Trek LIMS skof data (matrix report) |Work	|Work |2015-03-02 05:30:00 +0000	|2015-03-02 05:58:18 +0000

Thanks!

Actually, the exported times are correct. The ‘+0000’ is an indication that the time is to be read as UTC.
The issue here is that you probably would like to have the times in the export in your local time, i.e.:

2015-03-02 07:30:00 +0200 | 2015-03-02 07:38:18 +0200

Yes, exactly! Sorry for my bad phrasing, and thanks for adding clarity. Is there a setting somewhere for that? I bring these into excel, maybe I can fix it in the spreadsheet itself, but it would be nice if it was showing “correctly” in the CSV itself.

There is no setting for that. You’d need to fix it in the spreadsheet (or with a separate script).
