See below screenshot. Parent action group is deferred, action is showing in ‘Available’ view. This may be related to the remaining vs. available issues for on-hold contexts, anyone seeing similar issues?

The problem is that those are old defer dates, hence the tasks are available. A strike-through on passed deferred tasks would indicate to me that I need to defer some more.
Another open question is this:
If you have a task that was deferred to a date that is two weeks old and I press the button to defer +1 week it defers to 1 week back. I would have to press +1 week 3 times to defer it 1 week. Shouldn’t the +1 X be from the current date?
