The new OF4 icon is not updating on desktop. I tried changing the icon to the other options in settings and this did nothing. The old OF3 icon is persisting instead (I replaced OF3 w/ OF4 today). Consider this a bug report

Ah okay. Thanks for the heads up. The problem seems to have resolved itself when I restarted my computer, so all good
