Do you use deferred tasks? If so how? If not why?

Interesting! But if you had a parallel project with one action available and another one deferred, that prevents the deferred one from showing. Doesn’t it? Or is that a good thing?

You are absolutely right. Guess I messed up, while trying to filter out the block with “No Defer Date”. My bad.
My config/rules now look like this
Availability: Remaining
None of the following:
- Availability: Available
- Has a project which is on hold
- In the Inbox
- Tagged with any of: someday/maybe, dropped, checklist
- Contained within project or folder: Routines, Meta <-- added this one to filter out my routines

Thanks all, late at replying to all of this but playing catchup. I too am using due dates less and less. Often I’m viewing deferred tasks or at least some things that I can do but don’t have to do. Makes me feel less bad if I don’t get to some things. Also experimenting with some custom perspectives too.
