When I drag an item from the stencil, I want it to land on the currently selected layer. The one with the pencil to the left of it. But it seems that Omnigraffle knows better and wants me to put it on the top layer. Every time. Why? Why can’t I just drag to the layer I’ve selected?
(I’ve got a project where I am putting something on the bottom layer of numerous canvases and this behavior is super annoying).
Sorry about that! This is a known bug in the current version of OmniGraffle which we are actively looking into. I’ve let the team know you’ve encountered this as well. Hopefully we’ll be able to get a fix for this in an update to the app. Our apologies for the frustration that’s been causing in the meantime!
