The new word count feature is fantastic. However, it would be even better if the user had the option to exclude notes from the word count. My logic is that anyone writing professionally is likely to want to keep track of the main text but not the notes. Perhaps also the option to apply word count to selected columns would be useful, as sometimes I put supporting text or references in another column.
