Not sure if this is a bug or intended by design but when I have a focus set on Omnifocus, my widgets (on Mac and I think iOS) don’t seem to follow suit.
To set the scene for how I am trying to use this. I use widgets a lot for where I am multitasking and cannot have the full omnifocus window in view and have widgets available for inbox and various perspectives relevant to the workspace I am at.
Any thoughts?
It’s the way OmniFocus is designed.
Widgets will only follow the settings of a specific Perspective or Forecast, and they do not follow your “Focus On x” feature, which only applies to objects such as Folders and Projects.
We make a tool named https://minus.app that does something similar but with more options. It has a widget-like interface and displays only a single task from one of your OmniFocus projects.
