Folders in “Find Items” Shortcut Command

OmniFocus’ “Find Items” shortcut command is wonderful because it has a lot of granular-level controls.

But has anyone figured out how to search for items at the Folder level and not at the Project level?

Use case:

  • I have folders at the top level that separate projects and tasks into Areas of Focus
  • During weekly reviews, I’d like to gauge where my time went by using the Find Items shortcut command to count the number of completed tasks by each of the Area of Focus folders. This way I can see where I over- and under-indexed.

I don’t think this is possible, but wondering if anyone has a workaround.

Thanks.
