In the OF window in my split screen on Mac, when my arrow cursor reaches the right side of the window, the Inspector automatically slides into view. Is there a way to disable this? I couldn’t find a setting/preference for it.
I always use the split-screen function to drag tasks from OmniFocus into iCal to plan my day. I always open Omnifocus first, and then iCal on the right half of the screen. Despite several attempts, I couldn’t reproduce your problem, even though I checked all the layout settings in OmniFocus. By chance, contrary to my usual practice, on my last attempt I first launched iCal (left half of the screen) and then OmniFocus on the right.
Now I can see your problem. I have just one suggestion to prevent the Inspector from popping up: Open OmniFocus on the left half of the screen and the other app on the right.
