I have inherited an in flight project, Building a new plan, but want to show historical start finish dates, completed tasks…

I’ve added tasks to plan from a template. By default they have started on current date.

How do I move a group of tasks and sub-tasks to the left (earlier start date), and then mark them as completed that have also completed?

@Mister_Magoo You’ll probably want to set your current editing date (via Project > Set Current Editing Date… in the OmniPlan menu bar) to the actual start date of your project, then enter your historical project data.
