How do I create subtasks in Quick Entry?

Is there a way to create nested subtasks in the quick entry dialog on Mac. I’d like to be able to:

  1. Press a key-command to pull up quick entry
  2. Press a key-command to indent/outdent any task inside of quick entry.

Essentially, I’d like to do anything that I can do inside of Inbox.

You highlight the main task. Then hit command-shit-] which is the equivalent of the menu command Organize > Add Inside.

The will create a new sub-task for you.

Great typo/autocorrect, I think you’ll find the key is Shift. 😆
