How do you set a date if a task happens 1st Monday in every month? (repeating)

Hi,

I have a task to be scheduled on 1st Monday in every month.

How do you set in Omnifocus2?

This is currently possible “out of the box”, but would be a welcome addition. If you haven’t already, I recommend you contact the Omni Group at omnifocus@omnigroup.com with this suggestion.

In the meantime, the workaround I use is to create multiple copies of the action and defer them to the appropriate dates. For example, it were the first Monday of the month I’d create multiple actions with defer dates of October 6, November 3, etc. Not ideal, but it does the job.
