How do I add magnets to a shape in OmniGraffle for iPad?
You seem to be able to add patterns of magnets to shapes in version 2. But you still can’t position them yourself like you can in the Mac version.
When you move shapes the magnet being used moves also. The lock mechanism does nothing. I think magnets are fundamental to connectors which are fundamental to diagramming. It seems to be a persistent issue with omnigraffle.
If you move the connection point it will lock to that point but if you move it back it will not lock to the original location. Bizarre, non-intuitive behavior.
Did this ever change? I have OG3 Pro on my iPad and was still hitting my head against the wall today trying to figure out how to adjust magnet positions, or at least get more than 5 on a side. Thanks!
