How to change the language for the date abbreviations in OmniGraffle for Mac?

Hello dear Omni-community,

I am trying to switch the abbreviations for the months when inserting a date variable in OmniGraffle for Mac.
For instance now with the variable “%b” I get “Dec”, but as it is a German document I would like to have it as the German abbreviation “Dez”.

Does somebody here now, if this is possible? I couldn’t find anything in the documentation about it.

This is controlled by the language the app is running in. So if OmniGraffle is running in German, you’ll see “Dez”. The displayed language is not specified in the document nor do I believe there is anyway to do so.
