When I drag and drop a task on a new date, it modifies the Due date. On macOS you can hold command and drag-and-drop to affect defer date. What’s the trick on iPhone or iPad without external keyboard?
I’m keen to know the answer to this too. Have had to do that quite a bit lately and it’s cumbersome.
It’s easy to do. I tried it on my iPad (iOS 15). Tap with your finger on the day in the preview that contains the task to be postponed. The tasks of the day are then displayed underneath. Press and hold your finger on the task you want to reschedule. Now drag the task to the desired day and then release the task. Voila: The task got the new date.
