How to export object id into SVG

Hello,

The svg export is useless for me if it doesn’t export the name of the object/group has the te “id” of the svg Element.
Or maybe I miss something but my generated .svg doesn’t include any “id” ?

Sounds like your use case is to manipulate the SVG/XML. Correct?

A a user I think this is one of the attractions of SVG/XML and so I would echo this requirement - as a valid use case.

Yes that correct … I build and design SVG/XML but i need to manipulate those file after
and I think with the new CSS people are going to do the same really soon.

the best will be that the export fucntion … dump an SVG as close as possible from norme
