How to use a "Stalled" perspective?

Hi,

I’ve created a Stalled perspective showing all project without next actions. When I want to define next action in such a project though, it immediately disappears from that Perspective (sort of logical, as it’s no longer stalled) but also I can’t name / make the next action. So I’m left with remembering those projects and find them in the normal Project hierarchy again to add next actions. What am I missing here? Is there a way to prevent the perspective from auto-updating e.g. until I press CMD-K?

Thanks for your help!
Maarten

BTW: this is a possible workaround, but I’m wondering if it can be done without a script: http://curtclifton.net/journal/2014/5/27/verify-that-next-actions-exist

Hi Maarten,

I do it like this: When in “Stalled”, I press “Alt-Cmd-R” and this brings me to the marked project in project view. There, I add next actions and plan the project and then I return to the “Stalled” Perspective.

Not perfect, but not too clumsy either.

Ralf
