Hyphenation only in text-edit mode

German user here, I’m sorry for my bad english…

I’m a beginner in Omnigraffle (6.1.1) and already got a question:

When I create a new shape using the shape tool and edit the text with the text tool, I change the trigger in Format->Text->Allow Hyphenation to ‘on’.

In the text-edit mode (cursor blinking) the text directly changes into spereated words, as I wished. But when I quit edit-mode, the text turns back to the old style (no seperated words).

I already read the manual and tried to seatch the forum, but found no answer, maybe I’m missunderstanding the hyphernation-tool?

My goal: Entering longer words in a shape an letting Omnigraffle do the spereating-work, even if I change the size of the shape.

I’m very sorry this bug slipped through the cracks for so long! It’s now fixed in the latest test builds of OmniGraffle 7.5.

Ken, it’s good to hear that you didn’t lost track on this bug and keep optimizing the software.
Am I understanding you the right way if I assume that there will be no bugfix for the 6.x.x version?
So it will be 49.99$ to fix the bug? I’m sorry to say that this is a bit disappointing for users with foreign languages. I hope this doesn’t sound to harsh.
