Any thoughts? 5.7.1. : I saved it to a file. I manipulated the file name with a hazel rule but I retained the extension so it should recognize it. I just added the date of creation to the file name. I also got a message that the file could not be saved because I did not have permission to write to the folder. How can I, the only user of my own computer, ever not have permission to write to a folder I created?
I already fixed it. For anyone else that ever has this problem, I had inadvertently added the date after the extension via hazel. The result was that omnioutliner saw the date as part of the file extension type and didn’t recognize its own file. The file extension is sacred and has to come last in a name.
