Notice that OF shows a different keyboard shortcut in the General Settings window than it displays in the pulldown menu. The Shift key is always in the menu regardless of what is set in the Settings.
Both shortcuts work! The difference is that the shortcut in the menu item is only available when OmniFocus is the active app, while the assignable shortcut in General Settings is available any time OmniFocus is running (even if it’s hidden and another app is active).
Ah… thanks Ken. My use of Keyboard Maestro blurs the line. :)
Perhaps a labeling adjustment in General settings would clarify for others? Maybe “Global QuickEntry shortcut”? There seems to be plenty of room. Great product. Great update. User since version 1.
