Inserting titles

How does one insert a title on top of an outline?

You don’t…or at least not the way you’re probably thinking.

I do titles in a few ways, depending on the type of document/outline:

  1. The filename is the title. This works because it sits at the top of the window…but it’s not big or bold, and it doesn’t get printed.
  2. Use the top-most level as the title and nest everything underneath that. This looks good, because it’s styled bigger, and it gets printed out.
  3. Use the top-most level as the title and then put your first point (heading?) on the next line at the same level. To make the title pop out visually, create a Title style and use colours/font size/font weight to make the heading stand out (the included Stylish theme has this: Title and Heading level styles).
