Issue with window animation

Animations (hiding/showing sidebar and inspector) are VERY slow/choppy in OmniOutliner 5.0.4.
I’m on a 2016 13" MBP (16GB RAM) running Sierra 10.12.5 — anyone else experiencing the same?
