Hi All,
After 3 years of absence I’m giving OF a new try, currently used on Mac, iPhone and Web.
But now I have come across a problem/ (a bug?) that only occurs on the iPhone:
If a task has a defer date later that day, it is displayed in gray in forecast view and in a separate perspective that filters on the status, it is hidden. Expected behaviour, so far.
Now, if this defer time is exceeded, the task should be displayed in black in forecast view and become visible in your own perspective. But that’s not what happens. Although the time has passed, OF still thinks that the status is “not available”, as can be seen in the screenshot below. As a result, the task remains grayed out and is not displayed in the other perspective, which is, from my point of view, a massive problem. If a system like OF is not 100% reliable, you can actually do better without it.
Synchronizing, changing the perspective, open/close the app or similar also has no effect. Only the complete termination of OF with a restart corrects the error. Sometimes the error corrects itself after a while (1-2 hours).
This does not always happen with every task, but regularly.
I have already tried the “common” solutions (restarting iPhone, reinstalling OF), but no change. On the Mac, the same tasks works as expected.
OF 4.6 Pro (v182.2.0), iOS 18.5, iPhone 16 Pro Max. Background activity, notifications and everything else are activated for OF.
Does anyone have an idea or know the problem?
