I bought 6 Pro upgrade immediately. I don’t really need it but it is important to me that the product is maintained and that needs financial lubrication from time to time.
I have been caught out twice in the last week with licence checks requiring an internet connection. Given one of my primary use cases is birdwatching tick lists in remote places this is a disaster. Today I had to revert to Notes until back in zone as OO had gone read only.
The licence seems in order. What might I be doing wrong? Never happened with the old version
Sorry for the trouble! The intent is that the app should only need to check your license the first time you sign in with your Omni Account on a device. Once you’ve done that, it makes a record that your device has been licensed so that it shouldn’t need to access the Internet again.
So if that’s not working properly for you, then something must be going awry with the way the app is tracking your purchase when you’re offline. We’d love to track down what’s going wrong with this.
