Merge topics -- is there some way to do it?

It would be very handy to merge tags.

I’m surprised to find no such suggestion in this forum under any name I can think of (merge, combine, etc.).

Is there any hope for it? Or is there already a way to do it?

There’s no built-in command for merging tags, but it’s pretty quick to do by hand. Let’s say you have two tags A and B:

1. Open the Tags perspective, and select tag A in the sidebar
2. Select all the tasks in the main outline
3. Using the Inspector on the right side of the app, add tag B
4. Right-click tag A in the sidebar and delete it

This will leave you with just tag B, but every task previously tagged with A will now be tagged with B. Hope that helps!
