Moving Two Rows at the same time

Is there a way, a keyboard short cut, to move two rows at the same time to different part of the project? In the screenshot, I want to select 1.3 and 1.3.1 and move them below 2.1.

The result should be like this:
2.1.
1.3.
1.3.1

I am attaching a screenshot of the initial organization and the way I want it to look later. What I find I can do is outdent 1.3. and 1.3.1, move them under 2.1, etc. But I do not like this approach because I want to keep 1.3 and 1.3.1 together since if I mess up this connection, it will be a disaster.

Yes. Right-click on the disclosure triangle of 1.3, and that will select 1.3 and 1.3.1 together. Then drag them into their new position below 2.1, and they will retain the same parent-child relationship they had under Topic 1.

Two other things…

  • You can cut and paste
  • If you select the 1.3, then 1.3.1 (and anything else under 1.3) will go with it when you cut and paste

So try: select row 1.3, cut, click once on row 2.2, paste, indent

Without the final indent, the newly positioned 1.3 will be at the same level as 2.1.
