When initiating a new Quick Entry action (this might apply to creating new actions in a ‘regular’ window) and I need to create a project for it (this might apply to tags too), instead of creating the project in Quick Entry, and then later moving it to the correct place in the hierarchy, I’ll switch to a ‘project’ window, create the project where I want it in the hierarchy, commit it, and even close the window I created it in, but when I return to the Quick Entry window, the project is not populated in the project list. I’m wondering if, when a Quick Entry action is initiated, the project list is a snapshot of the current state, and is not updated until a new action is initiated.
