Location-based notifications in iOS seem to only allow the ‘dismiss’ action from the notification. Time-based notifications allow ‘snooze’ and ‘complete’ actions in addition to the ‘dismiss’ action. It is inconvenient to not be able to complete location-based tasks from the notification itself, as with time-based ones (especially when using my Apple Watch). Am I doing something wrong? Can this functionality be changed?

I submitted a feature request for exactly this years ago, but nothing came of it. Did you write in to support with this request, as well?
I don’t think I did. I’ll try to get them a message soon too.
It’s 2026 and I’m also noticing this. I keep getting notifications for tasks that I’ve already completed days ago because there isn’t a way to mark them completed!
I’ll look for a way to submit a feature request and submit it.
