I went to download it from the App Store, but it says it’s not available in the UK store.
I originally downloaded my copy from the Brazilian store, but since then I moved to UK and transferred my account to the UK.
When you do this, all your purchases disappear from your “purchased” list, but you can still download them by buying them again. The App Store detects you’ve already purchased it and it won’t charge you again. However, since there’s no OF for iPad available I’ve caught by surprise and can’t use it anymore.
Is there any reason as why it isn’t available?
We removed OmniFocus for iPad from sale on May 28. This support article contains more information about that.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a way of restoring your purchase. Your best bet will be to contact sales@omnigroup.com for a resolution.
Oh well. I guess the omni support won’t be able to do much since it’s an App Store thing, and they won’t refund me because I changed country. Tough luck.
I guess I won’t be using OF on my iPad for a while. Hopefully it won’t take like a year for the new version to be released.
Again, please contact sales. I don’t work in sales, so I’m loathe to promise anything publicly. Our sales team will be better equipped to see if there’s anything they can do.
