Notes fields do not support URL with UTF-8 characters

For instance, an URL like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrödinger will be broken into a URL fragment “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr” along with plain text “ödinger” in the notes field.
