When I complete a task, that task’s title is formatted as strikethrough. In the Forecast perspective, those tasks quickly disappear from view. (This is great.) But in the Projects perspective, they linger for an as-yet unknown time (perhaps indefinitely). The shorter the repeat frequency of a task, the greater the number of completed versions of a task appear in the perspective.
When do these completed tasks disappear? Is there some setting that causes them to automatically disappear after a configurable amount of time? (I looked in both the settings and OLH, and didn’t find pertinent information.)
Thanks in advance for any solution or advice.
Tasks in OF can have a number of different statuses and these determine their visibility in different perspectives and views. It sounds as if your project view/perspective is set to display “all” tasks whereas you’re expecting to see only “remaining” tasks. Click the 👁️ icon at the top in project view and adjust to show only remaining items and you’ll get the behaviour you’re expecting

And just like that, everything was happy and looking like I wanted.
Thank you Rob Forsyth. I believe I looked everywhere but there. You showed me the exact thing I needed and overlooked.

As a follow up — it’s well worth a little of your time making sure you also understand how the other filters (“next”, and especially “available”) operate
