I don’t know if this is a bug, or I can’t find the toggle. Whenever I click a task with notes, those notes autoexpand. I don’t want this. I only want them to expand when I actively invoke it.
Can anybody offer help?
Go into Omnifocus’ Settings > Layout > Set Editing Fields.
There, at the bottom you’ll see the option to always show notes. Disable it.
This is the default setting, but each perspective can be changed on its own View menu > Set Editing Fields.
