I’m unable to stop Omnifocus 2 Pro from opening on initial boot of my mac mini. I’ve deleted it from my ‘Login Items’ in System Preferences, but it still loads. How can I stop this auto-launch on login?
Is OmniFocus 2 running when you log out of/shut down your Mac? If so, it will re-launch when you log back in, along with all other applications that were running when you logged out/shut down.
You can disable this feature when logging out or shutting down by unchecking the “Reopen windows” setting on the log out/shut down confirmation panel.
That said, it’s possible that we’re too overzealous about creating a window if none are open when we launch. Please write in to omnifocus@omnigroup.com to let us know.
