I’ve never noticed this before. I have a tag structure for scheduling, as shown below.
When I display the tag column in one view and select a specific tag for scheduling purposes (to change the task text or something similar), Omnifocus remembers this and consequently changes the display in other views that show tasks with that tag, among other things. Tasks are then missing in the other perspective. Sometimes I didn’t realize that the tag selection was still active even after switching perspectives. I would prefer it if tags manually selected in the sidebar were not carried over after a perspective switch (e.g., via a perspective setting).
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can ensure that the rules of a newly selected perspective always control the entire view, rather than being based on a previous click on a tag?
