OmniOutliner can serve as a plot grid tool in the fashion of Plottr.
One more feature would make OO a stellar plot grid outliner.
Include column state in a stored filter. Imagine columns for each of the three little pigs and the wolf. For each plot point (row), the appropriate columns would have that story arc’s notes.
To see the Wolf’s story arc, filter for ‘has column Wolf that is not “”’ and turn off column visibility for all three of the piggies.
Selecting that filter would show only those rows where the wolf is relevant, hiding all the columns we don’t care about.
And one more feature.
Let the enter key work in RTF columns the way it does in Notes. Enter goes to a new line, Command-Enter closes out the cell.
I think that would be a great feature to include in OO7, which I’m hoping will be released as an upgrade in, oh, say June (of this year).
