OmniFocus 2.9 can import OmniOutliner 5.x .oo3 documents but not the new .ooutline document. Will there be an update to this so that she can read the new-format documents that her sister produces? Still need to export from OmniOutliner into .oo3 first.
For now you can simply Copy and Paste the entire outline from OmniOutliner to OmniFocus to import it (or you can export to the .oo3 file format as you’re already doing, then import that file). But yes, we’ll also be updating OmniFocus to understand the new OmniOutliner 5 format.
