Outliner 3.10.6 can't open in macOS Sierra

Hi I know I’m using an old version of OmniOutliner but until this last OS upgrade it’s always worked fine. I’ve restarted the computer; 2012 Retina MPB. When I click on an OO file the app bounces once in the dock and then crashes, same if I just try to open the program.

Any suggestions? Do I need to buy the latest version to make it work again?

I second that emotion - I just learned that the hard way. @omnigroup Any plans to support OmniOutliner 3.x on Sierra?

Sorry for the trouble here. OmniOutliner 3 was last updated in 2012 for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, and as such, does not contain any specific fixes for macOS Sierra. In fact 3.10.6 supports as far back as MacOS 10.4.8. We have found that OmniOutliner 3 will no longer run on macOS Sierra due to sandboxing restrictions.

OmniOutliner 3 is no longer in development, as OmniOutliner 4 was released in January 2014. We do offer an upgrade discounts for existing customers.

I just upgraded, thanks for offering the discount. I’ve used the app for 10 years so I think you all have earned the $ 😄
