Page Number Variable

I am trying to insert a Page Variable into each my canvases. It displays this <%#%> which has worked correctly in other versions of Omnigraffle, but for some reason each canvas layer is showing up as multiple pages so it’s messing up my pagination. I have checked the canvas properties of the document and they are identical to my old omnigraffle 5 files that have correct pagination. Is there a setting I’m missing?

Attached is a screenshot. As you will see, the canvas is showing up as 4 pages.

Eureka! I figured it out so I thought I would post it on the forum if anyone else is having this issue. For each canvas, go into the Canvas Size inspector. Make sure “Print canvas on one printer sheet” is checked. It changes the pagination to one page per canvas and the page variable is now correct. Yay!
