Pasted vector element from illustrator comes in cropped

Has anyone else ran into this issue and have a fix? When pasting a vector asset into Omnigraffle it gets cropped. Changing or adjusting the mask boundaries etc does not help as it appears the image itself is cropped.

I’ve tried opening a .AI and .PDF of the file and others as a test in Omnigraffle and it opens a blank canvas but in the layers area I can see shapes and elements. Any help would be appreciated.

+1. Have the same problem when using “copy as PDF” to create 'smart objects"

Try selecting the object in Illustrator - start dragging - while holding the mouse down use Command + Tab to switch to the canvas in OmniGraffle - when in OmniGraffle a green “+” will appear indicating the object will be copied - release the mouse, it will be dropped into OminGraffle without cropping.
