Printing from OmniOutliner: How to control text size

Hi Folks,
As a new user of OmniOutliner on an iMac, I would appreciate help with the topic of printing from OmniOutliner.
My issue concerns the relationship between print size and the size of the onscreen writing ‘canvas’.

(By ‘canvas’, I mean the area between the Side Bar and the Navigator Bar. It seems that the size of this area can be extended and contracted by using drag handles).

If I make the ‘canvas’ too wide, the printed text is tiny; if I make the ‘canvas’ very narrow, the print size is significantly larger.

I am sure there is a simple explanation for this behaviour…but I can’t seem to grasp what is going on.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

I think you might have checked the “Scale to fit page width” box in the Content section of the Print dialog?

Thank you for your reply to my ‘printing from OmniOutliner’ query.
I can confirm that I had checked the "Scale to fit page width’, and this was causing the printing problem.
