I frequently get PDFs of blueprints of new sites we’re building out. I’m a network engineer, so I’ll typically load the PDF into a background layer of an OmniGraffle doc, and based on the scale on the blueprint, I’ll estimate the reach of cabling from an IDF, and place my IDFs accordingly.
Is there a quick way to use the scale on a drawing to define the scale of a canvas or layer? I’d like to be able to effectively draw a line over the two known points, and tell OG “This is fifty feet” or “this is three meters”. That would make space planning much easier.
