I’d like to change the orientation of the vertical ruler so that “0” is located in the lower left and counts up as the elevation rises. Is this possible?
There’s a little square in the upper left of the ruler area, between the left end of the horizontal ruler and the top end of the vertical one. It’s got two intersecting lines in it – an icon for “ruler origin.” Click there and drag to move the origin to wherever you want on the canvas. Drag straight down to the bottom and 0 will end up in the lower left. The numbers, now negative, will increase in value from bottom to top. Ignore the minus signs and you’ll have what you want.
Double-click in the little square in the top left to restore the origin to the default position.
