Is there any chance to get an official extension to post from Chrome to Omnifocus? Besides the URL I’d like to have the option to add the clipping as well. There are some extensions already, but I don’t know the developers.
I use popclip for this. Can link from a ton of apps right into omnifocus

Have you considered the built-in OS X service. Chrome is a cocoa app, so it’s simple to do this. Select text, use the OmniFocus: Send to Inbox service, and you get the selected text and a URL. Give the service a keyboard combination in OS X system preferences and it’s super easy to do.
