Show in Projects = greyed out!

Hi and good day,

While working on a Keyboard Maestro macro to open an additional window with Projects I discovered a strange behavior with OF3:

When in some perspectives the keys for Projects are greyed out / not available - why?

so for ex:

When in Projects -> View -> Show in Tags

When in Tags -> View -> Show in Projects

When in my Due Tasks -> View -> Show in Projects

but

When in Forecast -> View -> Show in Projects = greyed out!

When in Review -> View -> Show in Projects = greyed out!

When in Flagged -> View -> Show in Projects = greyed out!

When in Completed -> View -> Show in Projects = greyed out!

Is this a bug?

I’m not exactly seeing this behavior in the test build 3.1.2 (v120.5 r320199).

The “Show in Projects” is not greyed out if I select a task, or tasks. And it seems to work properly.

But it is greyed out if the heading is selected, which you can do in the Forecast view.

Perhaps this is expected behavior — you have to select what task or tasks you want to show in their respective projects?

You are right - a task has to be selected!

(I only needed this when building my macro - ”How to Set a Custom Window (For Projects)"
