I can’t add a task in OmniFocus using Siri on the Apple Watch.

If I say, “Add a task named ~ in OmniFocus”, using the watch it always adds the task to the Reminders app.

If I say, “Add a task named ~ in OmniFocus”, using the phone it correctly adds the task to the Inbox in Omnifocus.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am using iOS 26 but it happened on the previous version as well.

Have you got OmniFocus installed on your Apple Watch?

If not, Siri doesn’t know which App you are referencing.

Why don’t you set “Collect Reminders” in the Automation Settings for the OmniFocus App? I always use the Reminders for a simple capture without the need of a complicated prompt.
