Suppressing empty projects in a perspective?

This question has been asked many times, but I can’t seem to find the answer I am looking for. I’d like to create a custom perspective that lists only active projects that have “available” actions.

Filter Rules:

  • Has a project that is active
  • Availability: Available

Presentation:

  • Group and sort: Entire Projects
  • Group projects by: Ungrouped
  • Sort projects by: Projects Order

What happens is that I get the information I want, but also a bunch of empty projects that show the text “no matching items”. Is there a way to suppress these projects from view?

I also tried these the following Presentation options:
Presentation:

  • Group and sort: Individual Actions
  • Group projects by: Project
  • Sort projects by: Projects Order

The odd thing with this approach is that the empty projects had a task with the project name visable.

Thanks,

Josh

Hey Josh,
I think I solved this by adding a “None” group with “Has an active project which has no remaining actions” under it.

Hope that helps!

Perfect, thanks!
