Syncing - devices not up to date

I haven’t used OF so much for a few months, but a 3-4 weeks ago, I’m back using it as my task manager. I have only a few items (31) in 6 projects. My problem is that I’ve noticed that various devices are not up-to-date. I have OF installed on 2 Macs that I actually use (might be installed on one additional Mac), three iPhones and three iPads - don’t judge me 😜,

I’m normally using 2 mac, 1 iPhone and 2 iPad. When I open one of these the list of items might not be up-to-date. For example: yesterday, I sat down with at one of the Macs (home), looked at OF and could see that there were old items available and none of the new ones. I had OF running in the background, and did a few other things before looking at OF, because of this I expected OF to be up to date - I waited for a minute or so but nothing happened, so I quit OF and reopened, then the list was synced.

Another example: after having parked my car at work, I entered a new item, in OF and walked to my office, I sat down, took care of some emails, switched to OF and noticed that the list looked before I updated it yesterday evening. I waited for a short while (<1 min) before quitting and restarting, that made the list update, but the item I entered in my car wasn’t there. It didn’t show up until later.

I haven’t seen this type of sync problems before so I assume I’m making some kind of mistake, but what mistake? Does anyone have an idea?

I don’t know if I applied to be on the european sync servers or not, so that could be an issue but I have no idea.
